Theo. Arndt

Theo. Arndt, aged 28 years died at his home in Milwaukee on Saturday after a lingering illness of lung trouble. For the past several months Mr. Arndt was confined in a hospital in Milwaukee gradually failing until death came.
Deceased was born in this city January 14, 1886. He was the son of Hugo and Theresa Arndt. His father passed away in death on April 17, 1913 and his mother died last March. For many years Mr. Arndt was employed at the Excelsior Shoe & Slipper Co. He was married to Miss Ida Bruss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bruss of this city on December 28th, 1910. He later moved to Milwaukee and then returned to this city because of ill health. About one year ago he removed to Waterloo to engage in the millinery business but was forced to sell because of ill health. He resided in Milwaukee with his family at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Ida, and daughter Mary, and three brothers.

The funeral took place Monday at 2:30 o’clock from the undertaking parlors of J.G. Fredericksen to the Ev. Luth. Emmanuel Church and the body was interred in the local cemetery. Rev. Tieman of this city and Rev. Dietz of Milwaukee performed the last sad rites.
