Funeral services were held at Glendo Saturday for Frisby T. Humberson, early day homesteader in the Glendo community, and later a resident of Douglas, who died Aug. 29 at Yuba City, Calif. Rev. Clyde Thompson of the Baptist church officiated. Mr. Humberson was born July 21, 1867 at Rinard, Ill. He came to Glendo about 1906, later moving to Douglas and Casper. He moved with his wife to California about 1929. His first wife, Saphronia Bell Humberson, preceded him in death. He was married in Casper a number of years later to Mrs. Della Vickers who passed away in 1946. He is survived by nine children, one of them being Meredith C. of Glendo; two step-children; a 92-year old brother, Marion, of Cedar Rapids, Ia.; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
