Name is on Battle of Vicksburg monument, National Military Park. He was taken prisoner of war at Battle of Sabine Crossroads, Tyler, Texas, and was held for 18 months. Merchant. Masonic Lodge. Died the day before Benjamin Sanford's 2nd inaguration. Interred January 11, 1927.
