HERMISTON — Riley Erin Arriola, 9, of Hermiston died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at her home. A graveside celebration service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 at the Hermiston Cemetery; everyone is encouraged to wear pink in true Riley fashion.

Miss Arriola was born April 4, 2001, in Hermiston to Edward and Lara McKenzie Arriola. She attended Umatilla Community Pre-School for two years and then Rocky Heights Elementary School, where she was currently in the 4th grade. She was very strong, independent, and loved being in charge.

Survivors include her parents, Ed and Lara Arriola of Hermiston; brother C.J. Arriola of Hermiston; grandparents Rod and Carolyn McKenzie of Hermiston, Brenda Sherman of Milton-Freewater and Ray Arriola of Pendleton; great-grandmother Juel Holland of Walla Walla; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
