Mrs. Anna M. Thompson, age 80, of Lake Mills, died on Sunday, February 23, 1986 in a Madison Hospital. She was born in Germany on December 17, 1905 and came to the United States in 1906. She was the daughter of John and Elwine Steinfeldt. She married George A. Thompson on January 28, 1925 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marshall. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Mills and its Ladies Aide. Survivors include two sons, Marvin of Sun Prairie and Norman of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Nellen of Sun Prairie; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Steinfeldt of Columbus; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1973. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 1986 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tuschen Funeral Home, 302 Columbus St., Sun Prairie with Pastor Karl R. Gurgel officiating. Burial will be in the Sun Prairie City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Tuschen Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, February 25 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. WSJ 2/24/1986
