Cherie Kimball Hunt, 34, of Springville, Utah died Jan 12 1999 in her home due to cancer.
She was born to George and Beverly (Turner) Kimball, December 18, 1964 in St. Anthony, Idaho. she married David L Hunt August 25, 1989 in the Logan LDS Temple.
Cherie graduated from Grace High School in 1983, where she was active in sports, music, and school government. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1988 with a major in physical education and a minor in English. She then started teaching English and physical education, and coaching basketball and volleyball in Payson, Utah, schools. she especially loved coaching the Payson High School girls volleyball team.
Cherie was a beloved wife and mother. She was very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Cherie is survived by her husband, David Hunt. and three children of Springville, Utah; her parents, George and Beverly Kimball of Grace, Idaho, and brother of Grace, Idaho a sister of Hillsboro Oregon, and grandparents, Clifford and Ruth Turner of Bedford, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by a brother, LaRon Kimball; and grandparents, Colton and Sadie Kimball.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 16, 1999 at 11 a. m. in the Hobble Creek Stake Center in Springville, Utah.
Services will also be held Monday January 18, 1999, in Grace Idaho, in the Grace Stake Center at 12 noon. Burial will take place in the Grace Cemetery, Grace, Idaho.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to an Educational Fund for the Hunt Children, in Care of First Security Bank, Springville Utah.
Clifford and Ruth Turner received work of the death of their granddaughter Cheri Hunt. They left Friday afternoon with Allen and Carol Downes and Daniel for Utah and stayed overnight in Ogden. Saturday morning they drove to Springville for the funeral. Cheri had three young children. Her parents are George and Beverly Turner Kimball of Grace, ID. They came home Saturday night and Monday went to Grace where another service and the burial were held for Cheri.
