Mrs. Ora Tyson
VIDALIA---Mrs. Ora Higgs Tyson, 84, died Friday afternoon at Bethany Home
after a long illness.
She was a native of Tattnall County and a resident of Lyons. She was a member
of the English Eddy Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Stanley and Mrs. Alice DeLoach of
Savannah; three sons, Robert Young Tyson of Lyons, Thurston R. Tyson of
Savannah, and Glenn Tyson of Apopka, Fla.; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Sharpe and
Mrs. Belle LaMarche, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mrs. Parnie Page and Mrs.
Eunice Thompson, both of Lyons; 29 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
