Herman C. Pennington, age 98 of Hanover Township passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 10:35 PM. He was born in London, Kentucky on September 17, 1912 the son of George and Nannie (Phillips) Pennington. Herman was employed in the maintenance department at Adams Elementary for numerous years, retiring in 1975. He was a lifelong member of the Princeton Pike Church of God. On May 27, 1933 in Hamilton he married Sophie Webb and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2010.

He is survived by his brother, Walter Pennington of Mesa, Arizona; sister, Evalee Creech of Pasadena, Texas; seven nieces; two nephews; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roland and Earl Pennington; sister, Aileen Stahley; one niece; and two nephews.

Funeral service will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, with Rev. Ron Medley of the Princeton Pike Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home.
