Wilma recall most Van Ness'es look similar to her grandpa Frank & dad Nolan. The men were tall & husky built but not heavy. Most had hair style as my dad cut. Very friendly family! Frank would have a heavy winter coat on & heater going in the summer months in his trailor when dad & famiy visited him. He also had a cancer spot on lower lip as my dad did in his 60's on same side. Grandpa was very nice.
Frank died at the Fowlerton Nursing Home, Fowlerton Indiana.
Frank lived some of his elder life in a trailor near edge of Van Buren, Indiana at his son Loren Leo homeplace. Also at the old folks home in Marion Indiana. Located near South Marion & heading toward Gas City, Indiana.
Frank marriage license to Victoria give his parents as Jacob & Mattie Leonard which is Martha Ellen. Martha went by Mattie, and her mother Susan Fisher-m1 Henry Helmsing & m3 to a Leonard. Should have stated Martha 'Mattie' Helmsing-Van Ness.
