It stated he was born 01/28/1897 in LaFayette, AL (date doesn't match his stone), his father was born in Milltown, AL, he worked at Shawmut Mill, his nearest relative was Cornelius M. Johnson of Shawmut (his father), he was of medium & slender build, he had blue eyes & black hair.
