Father of 4 children, Harriet May "Hattie", Leone O., Edson Edward and Arthur Lavern Parmeter. He served in the 11th MI Infantry Company D during the Civil War. He resided in Calhoun, Eaton, Jackson, Kent and St. Joseph counties in MI.
