Mrs. Nick Eckart died suddenly of a heart attack at 6:30 o'clock Monday morning, Dec. 10, in her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Rockwell in Windsor.

Adelia Ann Storm was born Jul. 10, 1872, in Arkansas to John Carrol and Nancy Jane Storm. She came to Illinois with her family in the first year of her life. In 1889 she was united in marriage to Nicholas Eckart. In 1913 she and her husband moved to a farm near Strasburg, living there until ill health forced them to retire and move to Windsor.

To this union three children were born, two died in infancy. Mr. Eckart died Jul. 18, 1944. Mrs. Eckart is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Rockwell; one grandson, Jean; and two great-grandsons; four sisters; Mrs. Minnie Abercrombie of Windsor, Mrs. Estella Leathers and Mrs. Lillie Strohl of Stewardson and Mrs. Bertha Dappert of Mattoon; two brothers, Garland Storm of Chicago and Granville Storm of Palm Beach, FL..

Funeral services were conducted from the Stewardson Christian Church, Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 12, the Rev. W. Lloyd Hanley and Rev. Walter Stine officiating. Burial was in the Stewardson cemetery. Windsor Gazette - 13 Dec 1945
