Mrs. Ethel Mae Lineberry Sharpe, 64, of Rt. 4, Galax, widow of Lloyd Arnold Sharpe, died in Galax hospital Monday, Feb. 21, 1972
She was born in Carroll County, Feb. 23, 1907, to David Lineberry and Piety Lineberry Lineberry.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. O. El Hines and Mrs. Winford Bowers, Galax, and Mrs. Warren E. Lineberry, Richmond; a son, Eldridge Sharpe, Galax; and a brother, Wilbur Lineberry, Woodlawn.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hebron Church of Christ by Elder Whitt Padgett.
Interment was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
The body rested at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home until time for removal to the church to lie in state for one hour before the services.
