George Leslie Thompson was a very accomplished musician and loved playing music for his family and friends. He was also a very skilled carpenter and handyman.

He married Adelia Atterberry on July 21st, 1919 in Livingston, Missouri. That marriage lasted only about a year. They had one son (Glen Burl) from that marriage. Glen Burl Thompson died of polio on September 25th,1925 in Breckenridge, Livingston, Missouri. (View find a grave memorial number 41416880)

He married Kittie Mae Davis on November 5th, 1921 in Chillicothe, Livingston, Missouri. They had six children from that marriage; three of whom were triplets (Dean, Gene, and Josephine).

He married Lola Areta Saunders twice. The first marriage on December 29, 1943, the second on December 22nd, 1951. They had one son from that marriage.

He married Melda Lily Heiner on June 7th, 1958 in Elko, Elko, Nevads. That marriage lasted about 5 years.

He married Gladys M. Womack in the mid 1960's in Montana.

George Leslie Thompson was servived by his wife Gladys, three daughters, two sons, ten grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
