Word has been received here by M. B. Fielding of the death of his half-brother, John W. Fielding, sixty-six, of Gaithersburg, Md.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock at Gaithersburg.
Mr. Fielding, a son of the late Eppa and Melissa Fielding, was a native of Albermarle county, but spent most of his days in West Virginia. His wife preceded him to the grave twenty-six years.
Surviving are four brothers and one sisters; L. Edward Fielding, of Charlottesville; the Rev. G. H. Fielding, of Ronceverte, W. Va.; the Rev. C. H. Fielding, Gordonsville; Mrs. Henry Lawson, Nokesville, and the Rev. E. F. Fielding, Aberdeen, Md., and a half brother, M. B. Fielding, Staunton.
