Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Jerry Liner, age 67, of Simsboro, LA will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jimmy Pyles. Interment will follow at Simsboro Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
Mr. Liner was born June 23, 1943 and passed away October 7, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rudy and Polly Liner and his son James (Jimmy) Bennett.
Mr. Liner was a member of Church of Christ. He worked for General Motors in Monroe for 24 years and retired from General Motors in Shreveport. Mr. Liner enjoyed traveling in his R.V, the out doors, and old cars. He was a loving and caring person who loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Ruby Liner of Simsboro; sons: Greg Liner and wife Melissa of Simsboro, Tim Liner and wife Theresa of West Monroe and Jeff Liner and wife Megan of Simsboro; daughter: Sherri Gatlin and husband Robert of West Monroe; mother of his children: Lillian Wilson of Simsboro; grandchildren: J.T. and Aimee Liner, Shelby and Baylee Knodel, Alexis Binford, Hannah and Adrianna Liner; great grandchild: Natalie Floyd; sister Jeannette Many and husband Charles of West Monroe; brother: Jimmy Liner and wife Cindy of Simsboro; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Jim Liner, Marshall Eubanks, Eddie Jordan, Raymond Jordan, Dennis Attaway and Chad Many.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Houck, Larry Liner and Tommy Houck.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday October 10, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
