Amil Bachorik, 63, of 194 Grove St. died Saturday in Leila Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio and moved to Battle Creek from Interlochen in 1930. He was employed by Battle Creek in the city's Water Department from 1950 to 1980, when failing health forced his retirement. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Eagle Lodge 3673 in North Fort Myers, FL and the Bastogne-Luzon VFW Post 565.
