Alfred H. Haymond, born in Shelby county, July 7, 1826, was reared on the home farm. He married Minerva Knight, and there were born to him of this marriage two children, one of whom, Everett Haymond, is a successful farmer residing at Waldron. Everett Haymond has represented Shelby county, as a Representative in the Sixty-fourth General Assembly. Alfred H. Haymond, a late resident of Waldron, departed this life June 29, 1887.
