MATHILDA R. (NICKELS) ALBRECHT
Mrs. Arthur (Mathilda F. (sic)) Albrecht, formerly of 1411 Madison St.,
Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital Extended Care Facility,
Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Albrecht, nee Mathilda Nickels, was born July 27, 1888, at Manitowoc,
daughter of the late Henry and Wilhelmina Ladwig Nickels. She was reared and
educated in Manitowoc and was a Manitowoc resident most of her life. He
preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1964. Mrs. Albrecht was a member of First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four sons and daughter-in-laws, Leslie and Lorraine Albrecht,
Clarence and Virginia Albrecht and Arthur and Ruth Albrecht, of Manitowoc and
Vernon Albrecht, of Milwaukee and Mrs. Elizabeth Albrecht of Manitowoc; a
daughter and son-in-law, Daniel and Florence Krume, and a brother, Charles
Nickels of Manitowoc, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Two sons,
Arnold and Robert, four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 to 9
p.m. Sunday and at the church from noon Monday until the time of service.
Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran building fund.
