NOTES ON LULU/LOUISE: When doing research on this person. I found out by looking at the 1900 census, she had been married twice with no children. So, I began researching the Ellis name according to the marriage of her and William. Found nothing on this so it might be that she went back to her maiden name. However, I did locate a death certificate of Louise Pendleton (see below)

I do believe this is the same Lula/Louise that belongs to William because of the death certificate, the home address is the same as what is on William's death certificate. Furthermore, her sister, Fannie F (Ellis) Watkins is the informant. Plus, William and Louise are living next door to Fannie Watkins and her husband according to the 1930 census.
So, with all this being said, I am not sure where this Lena from Michigan (1930 census) fits in. I am thinking that perhaps, there is another William F Pendleton born about the same time. Please let me know if you have any new information.
