A native of Sandusky, Ohio, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 15 months. He moved here from Coconut Creek.
Before retirement, he was a general manager for Standard Oil Co., Venezuela, for 20 years.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
He graduated from Cornell University, New York, in 1941.
He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Jensen Beach.
He was a member of American Legion Post 318 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 513, both in Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Mitchell Clark of Port St. Lucie; two sons, David John Clark of Fort Lauderdale and James McNamara Clark of Cape Canaveral; a brother, James T. Clark of Ojai, Calif.; and a sister, Edna Anne Lutz of Canandaigua, N.Y.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the funeral home. The Rev. Philip Bentley will officiate.
Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery , Jensen Beach.
