The daughter of William T. Demman (1826-?) and Frances "Fanny" Craig (c1821-1897) she was baptized September 17th, 1854 at New Ireland, Les Appalaches Co., Québec. She is found with her parents on the 1861 and 1871 Censuses at Howick Twp., Huron Co., Ontario. She married first, Joseph Keaner February 25th, 1874 at Wallace Twp., Perth Co., Ontario and they had four children: Harriet, William J., Sarah Rebecca and George born in Canada before removing to the States about 1879 where they settled at Ingersoll, Midland Co., Michigan where they are found on the 1880 Census. Her first husband is reputed to have died at Ingersoll December 7th, 1882 and She next married John Stimpson June 3rd, 1883 at Midland, Midland Co., Michigan. Her second husband died at Mt. Haley, Midland Co. March 31st, 1893 and she married Milo Brewster March 11th, 1895 at Midland. She is found with her third husband at Vassar, Tuscola Co., MI in 1900 and at Midland, Midland Co., MI in 1910 where she died in 1914.
