Jean C. Aspy, 60, a resident of Bib Barbee (?) Lake at Leesburg, died at ?? a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne where he had been a patient since Thursday. He had been ill since February.
Born Sept. 14, 1923 at Geneva, he was a son of Floyd B. and Katherine Cook Aspy. He never married.
Mr. Aspy was retired from General Electric in Fort Wayne and was a member of G. E. Quarter Century Club and IUE Union.
He was a member of the Methodist Church in Geneva.
Surviving are two brothers, Robert Aspy of Montpelier and Charles Aspy of Geneva.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) in the Walker Funeral Home in Montpelier with Rev. Robert Shoemaker officiating. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
Walker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
