Raymon Glen Mathys, 81, Geneva, Ind., died at 8:25 a.m. Feb. 28, 2015, at his home after an extended illness.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, Ind., the Rev. Michele Isch officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Geneva.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born on Friday, March 17, 1933, in Geneva to the late Clinton & Jesse (Runkel) Mathys. Raymon was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church in Geneva. He retired in 1994 from Central Soya, Decatur, IN, after 43 plus years of service. He was also the owner/operator of Mathys Refrigeration and the Attic 2nd Hand Store in Geneva for many years. He was a retired Volunteer Fireman for the town of Geneva, where he served many years. Raymon was an avid fisherman and spent many years fishing the waters of Hamilton Lake and Lake of the Woods.
