H.N Burroughs Dies Suddenly
Rofmer Romulus Man found dead in bed; Owned Property Here

Henry Newton Burroughs, 67 year old bachelor who was born in Romulus beat died suddenly at his home, 911 12th street. Mr. Burroughs was widely known in this county operating a store near Romulus for a number of years before moving to the city.
He is said ti have possessed extensive holdings in residential property here. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 p.m. in the residence with interment in Evergreen Cemetery by Jones-Spigener. The Rev. Horace G Williams of The Calvery Baptist Church will officiate.
Mr. Burroughs is survived by two brother, J.B. Burroughs and J.C. Burroughs of Buhl and four sisters, Mrs. W.W. Snider, Mrs. Mary Alice Anders, Mrs. Mattie Cornelius, Mrs. Ophelia Cornelius and Mrs. Ida Pate all of Buhl. There also are a number of neices, nephews and grandchildren.
Nephews of Mr. Burroughs will serve as pallbearers including, Virdo, Nute, Clifton, Roy, Leland, Billie and Patton Burroughs and Gilbert Cornelius.
