George Lines
LIBERTY TWP. -- George W. Lines, 67, of Liberty Township, died Thursday at Porter Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 22, 1918 in Kodak, Tenn., he was the son of James and Lula (White) Lines. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he retired from U.S. Steel in 1980 after 30 years of service.
Surviving are four brothers, Hubert and Jack of Florida, Harry of Kansas and Maurice of Chesterton; and two sisters, Bernice Ramsey and Nancy Quarrels of Tennessee.
Services 11 a.m. Saturday at White Funeral Home, Chesterton; the Rev. Roy Eaton officiating; burial in Hanna Cemetery, Hanna; visitation from 3 to 9 p.m. today.
