COOKEVILLE - Funeral services for Encil V. Hensley, 82, of Cookeville, will be held at the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home tomorrow at 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery's mausoleum section.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Hensley died at NHC Health Care Center on Friday, Jan. 22, 1999.
A native of Jackson County, he was born on Nov. 29, 1916, to Frank and Loretta Loftis Hensley.
A retired construction worker, Mr. Hensley was a veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Elks Lodge.
He was a member of the Church of Christ faith.
His family includes his wife, Lovie Vera Tulay Hensley; a daughter, Shireen M. Hensley of Cookeville; a sister, Mildred Bowling, and a brother, Claude Hensley. All live in Cookeville.
His family also includes a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hensley was preceded in death by a brother, Shural B. (Chuck) Hensley.
Dr. Charles McCaskey will officiate at the service.
