- Were he and your mother lawfully married? Yes sir, I guess so. They didn't have any license at that time; didn't require a license in Arkansas.
- How long did they live together as husband and wife? About 30 years, I think.
- How many children were born to them? Nine; only eight living; one died an infant.
- Through which parent did your father get his Choctaw blood? Through his mother.
- What was her name? Lydia Tubb, married a Moore
- What was your father's father's name" William Alexander Moore
- Where was your father born? Alabama
- How long did he live in there? About 12 years, I think. I heard mother say he moved to Arkansas when he was twenty years old.
- What was the name of Lydia Tubb's father? George Tubbs.
- Are you married? Yes sir.
- What is her name? Linnie Moore
- Has she any Choctaw blood? No sir
- Have you any children living? One
- What is that child's name? Robert Lee Moore, Junior.
- How old is he? Eighteen months
- Claim for yourself and one minor child? Yes sir
- Were you married to Linnie Moore under a license? Yes sir.
- When and where? August, three years ago in Bastrop, Louisiana.
- Who married you? Shooley was his surname; I don't know his name; preacher.
- Did any of your Choctaw ancestors ever comply or attempt to comply with the fourteenth article? Not to my personal knowledge, but we have evidence to that effect. It has been applied already to the Ikard case.
- What evidence is that? I never seen the evidence myself, but I have been told it is to this effect, that George Tubb was half Indian and that he received a section of land, or that is, a part of a section—some part of land—under that treaty and lived on it.
- Do you know whether any of your ancestors were ever recognized members of the Choctaw tribe of Indians? Well George Tubb was, from the records handed down from my generations; I have an uncle who is eighty years old, and he knew George Tubb and he said he knew him to be a part Indian, and that he knew his Indian name.
- What is the name of that uncle? Aaron J Moore
- Is he the identical A J Moore whose affidavit was submitted here yesterday in the case of William A Moore at all? Yes sir.
- Do you have of any written evidence of any kind that would prove or tend to prove such state of facts? Well, the Ikard evidence is all that I know. They have gone back to Mississippi and looked it up, but I haven't seen it.
- Do you speak or understand the Choctaw language? No sir.
- Any further statements? I want my case consolidated with the Ikard case.

By the Commission:
This applicant has the appearance of being a white man; shows me indications of being possessed of Indian blood; has dark hair, and rather dark complexion, hazel eyes; he does not speak or understand the Choctaw language and has no knowledge of the fourteenth article of the treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek or ever received any benefits thereunder. Dated 14 July 1902
