Ainslie Wyle

Funeral for Ainslie William Wyle, 78, of 2519 Stratford Road SE will be today at 3:30 p.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Rex Kibbler officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery wtih Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour before the service.

Mr. Wyle died Thursday at his home. He was born April 25, 1914, in Canada, was a member and an elder of First Christian Church and a Sunday school teacher for 45 years. he owned and operated Tennessee Valley Press from 1940 to 1975 when he retired, was a member of Decatur Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow, and was a Mason and a Shriner. He was former chairman of the state board of the Disciples of Christ and a member of the Boy Scout Council.

He is survived by his wife, Sally Wyle; two sons, Edwin Wyle of Sturbridge, Mass., and John Wyle of Atlanta; one brother, Dr. Ewart Wyle of Lajolla, Calif.; and one sister, Alwin Cease of Virginia Beach, Va.; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Lowell Stinson, Jim Johnson, M.R. Olson, Charlie Keenum, Henry Sprado, Ewell Russell, Owen Pace and Cliff Webster.
