Mrs. Herren was born September 10, 1920 in Graceville, FL, Daughter of the late William and Mae Bell Kirkland. She retired from Forte Pharmacy after 16 years of service, and was a member of Edgewood Church of Christ. She will always be remembered for her love of family and church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Herren was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Kirkland, Claudius Kirkland, and Jewell Kirkland and three sisters, Annie B Smith, Lillie Mae Smith, and Wilma Piccione.
Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Claude Herren of Columbus, GA; her daughter, Brenda H. Starling and her husband, Jerome of Columbus, GA; two grandsons, Mark Starling of Columbus, GA, and Matt Starling of Washington, D.C.; one brother, R.D. Kirkland of Tulsa, OK.
