Kenneth E. McEwan Sr. SPANISH FORK - Kenneth Eugene McEwan Sr., 77, of 56 N. 200 W., Spanish Fork, died Wednesday, April 27, 1977 in St. Marks Hospital following a short illness. He was born in Provo on Aug. 27,1899 to Daniel Dean and Emily Mecham. He married Mary Coltrin May 11, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1954. He married Mary Anderson Ryland on Mach 7,1956. She died June 19, 1972. He then married Vera Branson on Nov. 8, 1972 in Evanston, Wyo. He moved with his parents to Orem and received his educatiort in Orem schools. He served an LDS mission to the Southern States Mission. He returned, married and made his home in Provo. He was employed at Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. for 15 years as a crane operator and later worked as a building inspector for Orem City. He was also employed in the construction business as an electrician. He was a high priest and served in the Sharon Ward Bishopric and was a high counselor in the Sharon Stake. He was a member of BPO Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife; four sons and five daughters, Kenneth E. McEwan Jr., Floyd C. McEwan, Mrs. Oral (Norma) Butler, all of Orem ; Mrs. Donald (Joan) Cole, Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Van Valkenburg, Mrs. Daniel (Carolyn) Cloward and Mrs. Gaylor (Thelma) Davis, all of Sandy; Lloyd C. McEwan, American Fork and Grant D. McEwan of Farmington, N.M. ; stepchildren, Alden Brunson, Spanish Fork; Reed Brunson', Payson ; Theo Brunson, Raytown Mo. ; Val Brunson, Russellville, Ark. ; Lynn Brunspn, Kaysville, and Joy Eclke, Odessa Texas. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Provo. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery
