Catherine L. Steidinger, 81, Bloomington, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Monday (Oct. 4, 2010) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.
She was born March 4, 1929 in Eureka to Herman and Emma Niergarth Pisel.
She married John Jacob "Jack" Cole.
She then married Thomas Anderson. He preceded her in death.
She later married Richard "Dick" Steidinger on Oct. 6, 1995, in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Jacqui White, Heyworth; Lisa (Fred) Friend, Kendrick, Idaho and Karen (Michael) Schuhen, Sacramento, N.M.; four sisters, Ann Hall, Bloomington; Frances (Bud) Hunteman, Danvers; Liz (Roland) Bess, Bloomington and Judy Harroun, El Paso; six grandchildren, Julie (Rick) Scogin, Bloomington; Ted Friend, Portland; Heather (Sean) Feigon, Vancouver; Tim Friend, Portland and Amanda and Abigail Schuhen, Sacramento and four great-grandchildren, Cole, Tessa and Bree Scogin, and Gracie Friend.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John Cole; sister, Becky Stutsman and three brothers, James, Fred and Donald Walter Pisel.
