Nikolaus was 1 of 10 children of Johann S & Anna Elisabeth [Lohfink]. In Russia, Anna lost 4 of her children very young so, on 12 Feb 1899 they stepped foot on American soil in New York. They all went right to Nebraska and most never left. There are generations of Kriegers thriving there.
