Solomon Doyle, on Friday, April 25, 1969 at 1:30pm, son of the late Rev. N.J. Doyle and Caroline Doyle, husband of Elnora(sp) Doyle, father of PFC Solomon Doyle Jr., and two daughters, grandfather of eight, father-in-law of two, brother of Mrs. Louise Jackson, Mrs. Carolyn, Morris, Timothy, Herbert, Isaac, Albert, James Doyle of Oakland, Calif. and also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers and members of the Greater Evergreen Baptist Church, Law Street, Liberty, Mt. Calvary, Trinity, New St. Luke, Mt. Moriah and Evergreen Baptist Church of Oakland, Calif., St. John's Baptist Church in Bathanville, LA., St. Matthews of New Sarpy, LA, and all churches of the neighborhood, also nurses and aides of Sarah Mayo Hospital, Dean Gate Manufacturing Co., and N. Mike and Sans, Skoromas Local 1419, The Ninth Ward Inn, St. Francis Association, Union Carbide of Norco, LA., Civil Liberty Winter Capital Temple No. 427 of the B.P.O.E. of W. Elks Bros. and Daughters Traveling Club are invited to attend the funeral.
Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park 03 May 1969. Rev.R. Brown Jr., officiating.
