Dr. Irvine's body will be moved to Goff Funeral Home in Monterey where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
Dr. Irvine died on Monday, May 11, 1998, at his home.
He was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church. Dr. Irvine, who earned his doctorate in economics, was retired from TVA after many years of service as a budget officer.
His family includes his wife of 43 years, Sara B. Irvine of Knoxville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra and Michael Krusenklaus of Richmond, Va., and Susan Irvine of Nashville; granddaughters, Amy Haynes Lauren and Rachel Krusenklaus of Richmond.
Dr. Martin Thielen will officiate at the services.
Gentry-Griffey Chapel in Knoxville was in charge of arrangements.
