DIED
Little Alice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Cunningham, of this city, died last Sabbath morning, of pneumonia, aged three years and one month, after an illness of ten days.
The family circle is broken for the first time, by the ruthless band of death. The sweet, bright face has disappeared, and the spirit of little Alice is in the angel world. O, the dark days, and the aching hearts of that home! But we know the bereaved parents have something better than any empty words of comfort and sympathy one may offer. They have a faith which looks beyond the "thin veil," and knows their child is better off, and that they will soon be with her again. May this faith be a comfort to them in their bereavement.
