(She also was not born in 1863, as her death cert claimed.)
From Nebraska she made her way up to Portland, OR where she worked as a domestic servant until she married Robert L. Austin in Portland in 1908--perhaps coming to the State with her brother Ellsworth, who died in Polk Co., OR.
