I've been reminded that her name has also been spelled as Catharine as well as Katherine/Katharine. I chose to go with the spelling as shown as that is how my great-grandmother's name was spelled and she was named after her great-grandmother, Katherine Littlefield Macomber. As always, exact spellings are not always to be depended upon. I myself in this current day and age have my name misspelled as Katherine or Catherine, etc... instead of the correct spelling of Kathryn.
