He is survived by his wife, Sharon Francis Pinkerton; one son, Roger Dale Pinkerton Jr.; one daughter, Melinda Kay Pinkerton; both at home; four brothers, Ronnie Pinkerton of Parkersburg, Keith and Eddie Pinkerton, both of New Matamoras, OH, and Earnest Pinkerton of Belmont, seven sisters, Betty Lou Fulmer, Kathy Vincent, Patricia Pinkerton, and Tonda Pinkerton, all of Parkersburg, Debra Bunner of St Marys, Brenda Clatterbuck of Marietta, and Darlean Russell of Belpre.
He was preceded in death by a twin brother and sister.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Art Wilt officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
