Dolores L. Wiele, 88, of Fairfax, and a long time resident of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, May 28, 2010, with her family by her side, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Born July 16, 1921, in Strawberry Point, Iowa, Dolores was the daughter of Howard and Charlotte (Hines) Bacon.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Milo L. Wiele; and sisters, Charmaine O'Brien and Emma Julia Bacon.

Dolores is survived by sister, Josephine Snow of Cedar Rapids; daughters, Susan (Mike) Moses of Cedar Rapids and Sharon (Cal) Bjornson of Pemberton, Minnesota; and grandchildren, Steven (Michelle) Moses, Jamie (Tracy) Moses, Lauri Mitchell and Deron (Tina Kelly) Myers. Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Mariah Myers, Anthony Mitchell, Rebecca Mitchell, Addie Kelly, Allyson Moses, Madelyn Moses, Taylor Moses and Tanner Moses.

Dolores was a longtime employee of Wagner Printers. An avid Cubs fan, she also enjoyed gardening, attending Hobby Club and crafting with friends, making loom rugs, cooking and sharing her home with her family.
