Donald E. Bollock, 81, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 1:22 a.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010 at his home. He was born December 17, 1928 in Lafayette, Indiana, to Joseph and Louise (Brouwer) Bollock.

Donald married Norma Lee (Strong) Bowers in Somerset, Indiana, on February 3, 1961. He was a carpenter at Grissom Air Force Base several years and also was a former co-owner of Wabash Vault Company. He was a World War II US Army veteran stationed in the Aleutian Islands. Donald was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church and the National Horseshoe Pitching Association. He was an avid IU fan.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Bollock of Wabash; five children, Janet Sutton of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Roxanna (Tim) Stiglich of Roann, Indiana, Donna Guenin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, William J. (Kathie) Bollock of Carbondale, Colorado, and Martin Eugene (Levi) Bollock of Terre Haute, Indiana; two sisters, Alberta (Russell) Bius of Plainfield, Indiana, and Anna Purcell of Otterbein, Indiana; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Joseph William Bollock, and two sisters, Henrietta May and Barbara Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 188 W. Sinclair Street, Wabash, on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Sextus Don officiating. Burial will be in Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset, Indiana. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.

Preferred memorial is Wabash-Miami Home Heatlhcare and Hospice or Wabash County Cancer Society.
