It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of CHARLES GILBERT JUDD of Coutts, on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the age of 68 years.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Debra Ann Judd, children and spouses: James (Sherri), Virginia, Dawn (Greg), Barbara (Ian), Kimberly and Sonny (Jennifer); and beloved grandchildren: Brian, Heather, Stephanie – Cortney, Austin, McKennzie – Taylor, Kalie, Zane – Maryn, Tayson and Kolten.
Gilbert was born April 18, 1938 at Magrath, Alberta to Charles Elwood Judd and Ethel Grace Clifton. He had a great love of children and was a lover of animals. He loved the outdoors, camping and teaching his grandchildren how to fish…and drive. His patience and compassion was felt by all who knew him. He was "grandpa" to the community he served and brightened all with his quiet sense of humor. Through all of his activities and hobbies he was most intrigued by the wonder of the stars and universe.
Regardless of their age he was "big brother" to his four sisters, Merle (Lavern Still), Elaine (Bob Maslen), Sandra (Robert Follis), and Linda (Chris Johnson), whom he loved and protected. He will be remembered in love by numerous nieces and nephews.
The celebration of his life will be held at THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS in Coutts, Alberta on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may meet the family from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond at 4:00 p.m.
