Albert T. Nix, 86, Rt. 6, Olney, died Wednesday at 2:15 p.m. in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney, IL.

Services will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Fathers Bill Rowe and Gary
Behrman presiding. Visitation will be in Summers Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary.
Memorials can be made to East Fork Kiwanis Park or St. Joseph School Fund.

Mr. Nix was born Jan. 25, 1897, in Jasper County, the son of Phillip and Mary (Schauberger) Nix.

He was a retired implement dealer, and a prominent International Harvester dealer for over 50 years.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; the Kiwanis Club; Moose Lodge; Elks Lodge 926; and Oddfellows.

Survivors include a son, Albert W "Booner" and Mary Nell Nix, Olney; three daughters, Betty and Alva Brooks, Boca Raton, Fla.; Rosalyn and George Richardson, Olney; Madge Runyon, Fairfax, Va.; two step-daughters, Joanne Artz, Springfield; and Shirley Fields, Newport, Tenn.; 17 grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, and a brother.
