Hulda M. Wood 80, of Eustis, passed away on Friday August 13, 2010. She was born April 2, 1930 in Myakka City, Florida and moved here from Charlotte County in 1957. Mrs. Wood was a member of the Grand Island Baptist Church, and had worked as an Licensed Practical Nurse at Harry Anna Hospital in Umatilla and the Mount Dora Medic Home.
She is survived by her children; Linda (Sandy) Colley of St. Augustine and Deborah (George) Ryon of Umatilla, her sisters; Veleska Keen of Arcadia, Ila Roberts of Clearwater and Willie Shores of Georgia, her grandchildren; Shannon Broughton of Lexington, Kentucky, Kasey Ryon of Umatilla, Sean Colley of Trenton, Florida, Christy Saffell of Ft. Myers, Florida, Bradley Ryon and Charles Ryon both of Umatilla, her great grandchildren; Raelin Colley, Hannah Broughton, Kinsey Colley, Adrianna, Tyson and Kaitlyn Saffell.
Funeral services were held in the Grand Island Baptist Church at 2 PM Monday, August 16, 2010 with Rev. Donald J. Feezor, interment followed in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
