William Marshall Meads, 39, of Great Bridge, died in a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 1:45 a.m. after a short illness. A native of Weeksville, N. C., he had lived here 31 years. He was the son of John Irving and Jennie Meads Meads.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eula Styron Meads; one daughter, Verna Joyce Meads; two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Umphlett and Mrs. F. W. Davenport, of Great Bridge; three brothers, Fred V., Elwood L. and John B. Meads, all of Portsmouth.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
