Mrs. Renfrow was born September 7, 1921 and passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010. She was a resident of Harrisonburg, retired from Bell South after 35 years of service, and a member of the Myers Bend Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Brantley G. Renfrow, Monty J. Brooks, father; Allen Butler Cotten, mother, Maud Mae Frith Cotten, brother, Tommy Butler Cotten, sister Mary Cornelia Cotten Boothe, two half-brothers, Leamon William Cotten and Darvin Cotten.
Survivors include brother, Willie Ray "Bill" Cotten and his wife Maud Ella of Sicily Island; two half brothers, Jessie Howard Cotten and his wife Ella Mae of Harrisonburg and Bobby Glenn Cotten and his wife Irene of Harrisonburg; two sisters, Lois Cotten Boothe of Harrisonburg and Elizabeth Cotten Boothe of Camden, TN; two half sisters, Tommie Jean Cotten Franks and her husband Arney Dale and Billie Nell Cotten Nobels and her husband Houston of Harrisonburg; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were nephews: Ted Boothe, Dwaine Boothe, Denver Boothe, Dennis Cotten, Derwood Cotten and Tommy Butler Cotten, Jr.
The family received friends at Myers Bend Pentecostal Church from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010.
