Mrs. Jennie Barnes, 81, 1635 Kirby Ave., widow of John W. Barnes, died at Maple Grove Nursing Home Saturday afternoon following a long illness.
She was born in Greencastle, but spent most of her life in Muncie. Mr. Barnes died January 19.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Donald Barnes, pastor of College Avenue Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the morutary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and any time before services Tuesday.
