Born at Fort Bragg, N.C., Carol traveled the world during her father's military career and her own military career.
She was a retired Staff Sergeant with 14 years of service in the U.S. Army. She served during the Vietnam War. She was a disabled American veteran and member of the DAV Chapter.
Carol resided in Southampton since 1987. She was a graduate of Lenape High School and a member of Oak Grove Presbyterian Church, Southampton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard.
She was the beloved mother of Michael R. Forlines; dear daughter of Ruth H. Forlines; sister of James D. Forlines and his wife, Catherine, and aunt of Samantha Forlines, all of Southampton.
There will be a visitation for Carol 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Vincentown, Southampton.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at The Lankenau Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Vincentown, Southampton.
Interment will military honors will be in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, North Hanover Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church Scholarship Fund, Philos Bridge Road, P.O. Box 2212, Southampton, NJ 08088.
