CULLMAN -- Funeral for Grace B. Smith, 82, of Cullman will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Williams-McCracken Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Kitchens officiating.
The family will receive friends tonight from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cullman Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Smith died Monday, Jan. 17, 2000, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 28, 1917, in Marshall County, Tenn., to Olga and Lela McCory Beard.
She was a retired seamstress at Belk Hudson Co. and a charter member of the Lioness Club.
She is survived by her husband, James Harwell Smith Sr.; one son, James Harwell Smith Jr. of Cullman; one daughter, Debra Kennedy of Orlando, Fla.; one sister, Sara Pigg of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to the Alzheimer's Association.
