She was born Dec. 16, 1910 in Wirt County, a daughter of the late Leander Barr and Susan Sims Rader. She was a homemaker and a member of Vienna Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Louise Fletcher, of Vienna, with whom she made her home, two daughter-in-laws, Patsy Pittman and Betty Slack, both of Vienna; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Evans; two sons, Robert and Paul Evans; one sister, and three brothers.
Services will be held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, the Rev. Nathan E. Williams officiating. Burial in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.
